The comprehensive process of creating 3D animation

In the fast-paced world of digital media, high-quality 3D animation plays a crucial role in producing visually appealing content that captures the audience’s attention. At Provisual.pro, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch 3D animations using industry-leading tools like 3ds Max, Corona Renderer, After Effects, Premiere Pro and other soft. Here’s a look into our meticulous animation process and how we ensure unparalleled quality for our clients.

Process of creating 3D animations:

1. Scene creation for camera shots

The animation journey begins with the creation of a scene for a camera shot, typically lasting around 4-5 seconds. We use 3ds Max, an advanced 3D modeling and rendering software, to set up the scene meticulously. This foundational step ensures that the visual elements are accurately placed and proportioned.

2. Music selection

If the final animation needs to be synchronized with music, selecting the right soundtrack is pivotal. We primarily source our music from AudioJungle, YouTube, Adobe, Artgrid, which offer a vast array of high-quality. Music adds a layer of emotion and timing that enhances the overall impact of the animation. We carefully choose music that complements the visual narrative.

3. Static renders for material approval

Before moving on to the final rendering, we create static renders to verify and approve the materials used in the animation. This step ensures that textures, lighting, and other visual elements meet the client’s expectations and project requirements.

4. Viewport animation clip

Next, we create a viewport animation clip in 3ds Max. This preliminary clip is crucial for client approval, as it showcases the movement of the camera and objects within the scene. It serves as a visual draft, ensuring that the client’s vision is accurately translated into animation.

5. Rendering every tenth frame

To further refine the animation, we render every tenth frame of the shot. This step allows us to check for any inconsistencies or areas that need adjustments before proceeding to the final render. It’s an important checkpoint to maintain the high standards we set for our animations.

6. Final rendering

The final rendering stage is where the magic happens. We render at 25-30 frames per second to achieve smooth and realistic animations. Our standard resolution for final rendering is Full HD 1080p, which ensures the image is crisp and clear. This stage is time-consuming, but very important to deliver the quality product our clients expect.

7. Video editing and music synchronization

The final step involves editing the rendered frames and synchronizing them with the selected music, if applicable. Using After Effects or Premiere Pro, we ensure that the transitions, timing, and overall flow of the animation are seamless. We also enhance our final videos with additional stock footage from Adobe, Artgrid or other popular stock websites. The result is a captivating and professional animation that meets client expectations.

Special requests: animated human characters

Upon request, we can incorporate animated human characters into the scenes. These characters are created using highly realistic scans from AXYZ Anima, ensuring that they blend seamlessly into the animated environment. This adds a dynamic and lifelike element to the animation, tailored to the client’s needs.

Integrating 3D animation with drone footage

For projects requiring the integration of 3D animation with drone footage, the process is similar. We either use drone footage provided by the client or collaborate with a partner company to capture the necessary shots. This integration provides a comprehensive view of architectural designs, real estate properties, or any other large-scale projects.

Project timeline

Creating a high-quality 3D animation is a complex and time-consuming process. On average, a 3-minute animation takes about 2 months to complete, although timelines can sometimes be shorter or longer depending on the project’s requirements and complexity.

Who can benefit from our services

Our comprehensive 3D animation services are beneficial for various sectors, including:

  • Architectural firms: Showcasing realistic visualizations of building designs.
